I am a vocational rehabilitation counselor and I just discovered your site. I was recently diagnosed with a lesion on my sacroiliac joint and was trying to obtain detailed information about the spine. This is the best site I have located. Thanks so much!
Your website reads like the who's who of SI Joint dysfunction.
Hi there, I just wanted to say "Thank YOU" for these resources! I thought I'd looked everywhere for info and all I came to find was nothing.. I've been suffering from Sacroilitis for a year now. All the pages were the same. Same people with the same symptoms. Yet, NO ANSWERS! Well, I HAVE found so many answers tonight while going thru your page. I haven't even BEGUN to look thru all the links but, believe me, I WILL! Thank you again... :0)
Thank-you for your fantastic web site. It has been a life saver !!! I am a 4th and final year chiropractic student at the University of Glamorgan, South Wales U.K. The info. about the SI joint I have found on your web site has been fantastic, not only does it help me with my research (hamstring injuries and SI dysfunction) for my final grade but also for the literature review I need to submit with the patients I am treating who present with SI joint dysfunction. Our library resources are some what inadequate, and it takes anything up to 3 weeks before I can receive an article I may have ordered.
Dear Kalindra
Thank you for your excellent S I jt. web page. I am a Registered Massage Therapist in Ontario, Canada. My practice is located outside of Niagara Falls in a small town called Virgil. Keep up the good work. I often get frustrated with the increasing commercial nature of "the net ". It is very refreshing to see sites like yours, as opposed to sites with minimal information, trying to sell products.
The Delphi forum is a great place for information.
I would firstly like to thank you for allowing us to have all this information available to us so easily, it is most helpful.
Just wanted to thank you for this site. I have looked for months for articles as clear and as clinically based as these. Thanks, again.
The site kalindra.com is the best website I have found since researching information on the Sacroiliac Joint - May 1999. Thank you so much for putting such a great site together.
I couldn't believe the information on this web-site! I only wish I would have found it sooner. I have been suffering for 2 1/2 years from a slip and fall injury. I have had multiple problems due to s.i. j. dysfunction. I have had prolotherapy done, but my doctor is referring me to Dr. Lippitt in Atlanta. That is how I found this site. I don't think it ever came up when I did a web search for prolotherapy or sacroiliac dysfunction, unless I just overlooked it! I'm happy I've found it now. Thanks again.
Hi, This has proven to be a valuable website so far, so thanks for the resource. I have been dealing with severe back pain for several months. Thank you very much.
Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that I appreciate your web site very much and I think that you are a goddess. thanks
You're site is wonderful and I thank you for your efforts.
Kalindra -You're amazing!! It looks fabulous - I'm very impressed - thanks for your help with this material. I'm happy to hear you'll be in Montreal. If you need any introductions when there - come find me.- Diane Lee
Just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to find this site! THANK YOU for going to such lengths to put this web site together it has been very informative. Kalindra, you are an ANGEL and I appreciate any and all help you can extend me.
Dear Kalindra, Richard DonTigny made us aware of your wonderful site. You are doing great work. Thanks and kind regards, Dr. Andry Vleeming
I wanted to drop a quick note to you and say hi. I was just reviewing your kalindra.com site for the first time in quite awhile. I just wanted to say congratulations on compiling such a great range of articles on such diverse subjects. The improvements on download times are a great plus too. I know you've put in a lot of time to this effort, so I just wanted to say hi, thank you and congrats on a great site.
Dear Kalindra, Great site. Best regards - Jerry Hesch Founder-The Hesch Method of Treating SIJ Dysfunction
What an excellent resource site you have. I'm most impressed. Please would you consider the Pain Support Web Site for inclusion in your list of support groups? www.painsupport.co.uk
I just wanted to let you know that I think your website is great. I found it on a search engine for information on sacroiliac joint dysfunction and I think it is a great resource.
I have just visited you site for the first time. It is just wonderful. Found your site through a search on Alta Vista. I have suffered from lower back pain for several years and only recently was told by a physical therapist that my pain is located in the SI joint. So I began my own research. Thank you.
Your resource page is incredible!! Great work Kalindra!
Hi, I've just discovered the delphi site on SI problems. It is very helpful.

Dear Kalindra, I am in the UK and have just found this site which I have found amazingly helpful and informative. I have had sij problems for 12 years. Best Wishes, Toni
Hi, Congratulations on a well designed and informative web site. Thanks!
Before finding this website I had suffered from SI dysfunction for years. Thanks to this site I am on my way to finding help. I am from the midwest and unfortunately not too many doctors have even heard of SI dysfunction, which is why I suffered for so long. It is about time everyone in the medical field know about this painful and disabling problem. Thank you so much for this site, as I can say it has saved my life.
Kalindra,
Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy the forum and the Kalindra site it has helped me so much. I don't post a great deal but I do like to read what others say. Thank-you. You are an inspiration to us all. Take care
What a wonderful and thoughtful job of service you have done for other people.
Dear kalindra, Many thanks to the hosts of this thoughtful site. For me it was a chance find while searching the net for my next talk on Pregnancy and backache at our local medical meet. I think the coverage in this site is so extensive that i do not need to serch anywhere else. Thanks again.

This is by-far the best source of information relating to SIJD that I have read anywhere. I have been extremely impressed by the articles I have read with actual diagrams. I am an MRI technologist with a long hx of SIJD- S/P Prolotherapy. I enjoy the articles that describe the ligamentous support system that embraces the SI joint. I check out this web site EVERYTIME I am online. Thanks again!! Julia
I'm a physiotherapy student from Norway. Found lots of valuable information on this site. Thank you. Now that I'm about do deliver a paper about the sacroiliac joint at school, the only thing I'm missing is the year the different articles were published for my resource list. Might be a good thing to add? Linda Sund
Excellent resource for the SIJD sufferers of the world. I have been dealing with this problem for 4.5 years and am gaining lots and lots of good knowledge from these articles. I am taking very good notes and presenting them to my primary care doctor for a referral to a decent doctor.
This is a great website. I was diagnosed with piriformis syndrome 2 years ago and am still having problems. These articles have been helpful. I was starting to wonder if I had SIJD instead but now I'm positive that the diagnosis of piriformis syndrome is correct. Now I just need to find a specialist who treats it.

I have been looking for a site like this for ages now. thank you for putting it together, it was very useful indeed.

I have suffered with low back, abd., pelvic pain since an injury at work Nov. of 99. I have been through a battery of tests, all negative, I've tried so many pain meds, physical therapy, tens unit, etc. A month ago my Dr. did try a trigger point injection and it did seem to make a difference. We tried naprosyn 250mg bid, nortriptyline 10 mg qd. Within 24 hours I noticed relief. At present my pain level has gone from 8 or 9 down to at least a 2. This is the first relief I've had in 2 1/2 years. Finding this website has given me hope.
Thank you so much for posting the Richard DonTigny FAQs!! I am also extremely grateful to Richard DonTigny for having written them. They are well-written and very educational. After 8 frustrating months of painful SIJD, I finally feel a sense of control and optimism.
I cannot believe that this site exists!! It is a Godsend!! Thank you so much for making it available!!
The information that I found on this website saved my life!! Thank you so much!!
It took me a while to stumble across this site. What a goldmine. Keep up the good work.
I have read all the comments and I have to say I agree with all of them. I have read a lot about sacroilitis/periformis/etc.etc. on your site -I have referred this site to many physical therapists and friends. The best of all -I'm not alone with my disease. I have received answers and support. Thanks to all of you. Char
Love your website, but it's sad to say that nobody is able to help me. I don't know why everyone is so happy about. I've been through so many doctors and they just keep dismissing me.
I really enjoyed stopping by your site. If youre ever in Orange County and need to look up a good massage therapist, visit my site at: http://www.123prequal.com/orange-county-massage-in-call.html - Orange County Massage. Thanks! Tiffany
Have had back problems for 26 years and didn't realize it was generating from the SI Joint. Am constantly pulling muscles/ligaments in my low back. Hoping this site can help!
I think this should be a "standard" to design and develop a website, you find MOST of the information than you need in one place, the information is shown in the same software, ADOBE, you find many points of view about the subject. Excellent.
I just want to say thank you. I broke down and cried after finding your site. I have been dealing with SI joint dysfunction since the birth of my baby one year ago this week. After being diagnosed with pelvic floor dysfunction because I was unable to urinate, and a herniated disc at L5 S1, doctors kept injecting my lumbar spine, and I got no relief. They just kept trying to push narcotics on me to mask the pain (which I would not take- I had a baby to care for!) After reading all your articles available it all makes sense to me. The leg pain, the butt pain, the involvement of the piriformis muscle, the catching of the leg phenomena, and the pubic bone/pelvic girdle involvement. Even though it is painful it is nice to know I'm not crazy. I have been through numerous doctors and pain clinics looking for an answer to cure this problem, not mask it with drugs. Now I can take these articles with me and show them I'm not nuts. Thanks.
Great information....thanks Jennifer Jones
Thank you! Thank you for your website!
I was in an automobile accident about 4 months ago. after a positive nerve conduction test and a negative MRI ,I was diagnosed with piriformis syndrome. I still have pain down my leg and lower back when I bend. My leg is usually tingling when it isn't numb. I at times felt like my Dr. thought it was in my head. He just told me to keep taking my muscle relaxers, pain meds told me I was taking longer to heal than most pts and release without explaining anything to me. All I knew was that I was in constant pain since the accident and still had no answers. Your website has helped me to understand so much. (ITS NOT IN MY HEAD) Thanks for helping me to understand!!
Thank you for a great website! With the help of this site I am living a normal life again!
Very very useful. Thank you. I am a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist researching the SI joint and you have helped in that process greatly
This is a great site. I used it several years ago to find info on SI joint problems. I ended up having SI joint fusion on 3/03 and am 99% pain free. If anyone is in the Calif. area and needs a great surgeon's name, please feel free to contact me. Thanks again, Pamela
thanks for all the help with cheap research for my bachelor. Glad I found this page! I canīt say thank you enough...here in Germany I couldnīt found anything about this subject.
I am so grateful to have found your site. You may have just saved my life. SIJ pain and problems for 21 years.
I do appreciate all the updated research on Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction. Thank you.
Hi, my name is Kathy Bradford and it seems we all have something in common. I have had fusion of L5-S1, have Fibromyalgia and SI Joint Dysfunction. I have been told that this is as good as it gets! I have to believe there is something else out there, or I may go insane. Contact me at cbradford2@alltel.net. Thanks!
Please Mr. Richard DonTigny We have here In Finland one healer who can put a si-joint back to its place. He is (perhaps) the only one in the country! He has had patients all over the world! Canada, USA, GRB, Norway, Danmark, Sweden... and from lots of from other countries. He knows how to heal as you have been teaching! He is a natural healer! He healed me after 10 years of pain! And many others, even one fybromyalgia patient! I am just one of the pain patients he healed. I got a second life after my pains! And a lot of my close friends after my recommendation. But here in Finland a physiatrist, doctors, orthopedists,... they don't believe on him. And you! I am bald enough to ask help! Please! I have been studying this technic after my healing... He does the healing according to your description! He healed me, my aunt, my 4 friends, my girlfriend.. and 1500 others! and the doctors here just don't believe on him! Can you help me, somehow? I know this is a lot to asked...
I enjoy reading your info, I've been dx tear ant and post. si joint, had injection of cortisone then prolotherapy with no relief, I'm at wits end with constant sciatic type pain, nobody in my area knows much about treating this condition or cares to!! I am going to try some of exercises. janel hassen il
Thanks Kalindra for the great SIJ articles. As a massage therapist with personal experience of a SIJ injury I know how painful this injury is and how difficult it can be to treat. What I have experienced and see with many of my patients is not just a 1 joint injury but a complex multi joint injury often involving compensations at the hip, knee and ankle joints. SIJ manipulation is one small piece of the rehabilitation puzzle. I encourage long term sufferers to seek help w/functional exercise and movement reeducation. www.johnpowerimt.com
This site is great!!!! Bryan Ruchin, MSPT Atlanta, Georgia
Wow! Cool site!
Really good site, thanks.
Your web site was excellent. It was very well organized and easy to follow. I enjoyed it very much. I would like to submit an article on fluoroscopic guided SI joint injections. Dr.Jim Holleman
Thank you for taking the time and a huge amount energy to create this website. I am looking for a "cure" for my husband that has chronic lower back and leg pain resulting from a lumbar L4,L5 fusion. He felt better before the surgery then after and it's been 2 years and still no relief. All your info. shed's a new light on things and at least something to work on. Thanks Again. Dawn Frassinone.
